1. Ginger Beer Hibiscus Mocktail

This tropical mocktail is reminiscent of cool breezes, hot sunny days and white sand as far as the eye can see.

Gently mix into a glass: ginger beer, hibiscus syrup, lime, passionfruit and chopped strawberries. Then top with mint if that suits your fancy.

Mix into a glass  the juice of one lime, lime cubes, 1 tsp coconut sugar, a handful of fresh mint, ice, sparkling water. Oh – and if sugar’s not your thing, just leave it out. This drink can also be enjoyed sugar free.

4. Creamy Coffee Mocktail

This mocktail requires a cocktail shaker, so you know it must be good. Also, it has coffee and cream – say no more.

Mix in a cocktail shaker:

  • 60 ml of strong brewed coffee or a double espresso shot chilled
  • 
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
  • 220ml coconut milk
  • 1 tsp raw honey, maple syrup or xylitol
  • Ice cubes to serve

5. Banana Pina Colada

You’ll need a blender for this one, but it will be worth it. Prepare some Mexican food and you’ll be enjoying a fiesta in no time – without the siesta that comes from too much alcohol!

Blend 2 frozen ripe bananas, 1 cup pineapple chunks, 1 cup pineapple juice and 1/2 can coconut milk (frozen into cubes) then use fresh pineapple wedges for garnish.

6. Strawberry Mockarita (Strawberry Virgin Margarita)

Full of flavour and with only five ingredients, this mocktail will end up being more than a new summer fling.

Blend ¾ cup frozen strawberries, 45ml fresh squeezed orange juice, 30ml fresh squeezed lime juice, 30ml agave nectar, 8ml orange blossom water. Yum.
